Lead vocalist, Richie Sampson, has performed alongside former long-standing members of The Drifters, such as Ray Lewis, Billy Lewis, Butch Leak and Roy Hemming’s at various times. The group breathes new life in to the classics such as ‘Under the Boardwalk’, ‘Save the Last Dance for Me’, ‘Up on The Roof, Kissing in The Back Row of The Movies’ and many more!

BIOGRAPHY
This is a multi-award winning act that celebrates the music and songs of The Drifters, The Temptations, The Four Tops and many more soul and Motown classics.
They truly capture the magic of a splendid era. This is soul and Motown at its very best.
This fabulous group formed over a decade ago relights the flame, breathing new life into those superb songs such as; Saturday night at the movies , Under the Boardwalk , My girl, Get Ready (here i come), You’re more than a number in my little red book, Stand by me, save the last dance for me, Kissing in the back row of the movies, I can't help myself, Same old song, Reach out to me, You to me are everything, End of the road, Heard it through the grapevine and many more great hits.
SKW also delights audiences with songs from the new album ‘Closer and closer to you’, which are original material, clearly influenced by the great vibes of Soul and Motown music.
Richie was also frontman for the world famous ‘Foundations’ and worked with longstanding members of the legendary group The Drifters. He remains the main stay in Soul kinda Wonderful as their star continues to rise.

With excellent stage presence and real star quality, Soul Kinda Wonderful have performed around the globe, and have won various accolades.
